Tonny is microscopic minded, elegant yet humorous. The atmosphere is always good whenever talking with him. “My hobby is my job!” Tonny thinks the hotel industry is glamorous but also very tough. “Having interest in the industry is not enough for survive, you have to dully devote yourself into this job, falling into love with it. You will then feel the joy and pleasure from the hard work and would be sustainable for staying here.GM---1

“Qiandao Lake is peaceful. It could ease your impetuousness, makes you calm and peaceful. A three or four days stay is definitely worthful, which would keep you away from your business life. You would be able to feel the inner peace and would leave with a refreshing mind. This is the uniqueness of the Qiandao Lake.”

What are the main characteristics for Sheraton Qiandao Lake Resort?

The hotel is featured with 249 guest rooms and suites, and 90% of them with the 270 degrees lake view. So I always say that “You don’t need to visit Qiandao Lake, as you’ll be soaked in the spectacular views of Qiandao Lake if you stay with us.”

The hotel also has two indoor swimming pools and three outdoor swimming pools, while the massage pool is the key characteristic in summer. We will upgrade our outdoor swimming pools next year, which will make the pool and the Qiandao Lake to be on the same horizontal level. We believe the hotel will be more attractive. For sure, in order to ensure the in house guests’ experiences, they are always in priority for using the pools.

In your opinion, what’s the brand value of Sheraton?

Sheraton is working for bringing people together. It’s about bringing communication back to the travel experience. Sheraton creates opportunities to connect – to home, to colleagues, and to friends, both old and new. In Sheraton, we are not only serving the hotel guests, but also our staffs.

What are the characteristics of the hotel’s services?

We will try to perceive our guests’ preferences before they check-in. These information can be obtained from the SPG System or our sister hotels. We just upgraded the hotel facilities for our specific target customers. Like the newly decorated Kid’s Club, the total area has been increased to 200 square meters. And the nearby Link@Sheraton will have the parents enjoy their leisure time, while the kids to find more fun in the Kid’s Club.

Besides the Sheraton Club, Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance, Sheraton Sweet Sleeper TM, Link@Sheraton and Social Hour, we will try our best to meet the needs of our guests. Personalized service goes beyond guests’ expectation.

Sheraton Qiandao Lake Resort shows great advantages in the terms of MICE and wedding, what do you think?

With ten function rooms encompassing 1,694 square meters, Sheraton Qiandao Lake Resort is the first choice for MICE events in the Qiandao Lake area. Our 750 square meter pillar free Grand Ballroom with the optional outdoor area could meet the a variety of conferences and banquets’ needs.

We launched out a very attractile wedding campaign, booking the 2015 wedding banquet could have the extra super benefits before October 31st. There will be a complimentary wedding trip to internal coastal city, like Hainan, Dalian or Qingdao, including two nights staying and round trip tickets for two. For those who are not local Qiandao Lake, we offer 5 complimentary deluxe lake view rooms for each table. By the peculiar way of holding the wedding and having their big day by the lake, we wish to make the traditional wedding to be a memorable trip with thier relatives and friends for the new couple.

So what’s your suggestion for those who are green?

The hospitality industry is lacking of professionals. While, I will say “More haste, less speed”. The first thing for entering the hospitality industry is to build the solid foundation. You will be successful with your hard work.

杭州绿城千岛湖喜来登最大的特色有哪些?

我们有着249间客房,90%都能尽览270度的开阔湖景,我常常开玩笑,来住喜来登,都不用游千岛湖了,因为在房间里已经能领略千岛湖的全貌。

酒店还配备了2个室内泳池和3个室外泳池,其中漩涡池更是夏季的特色。明年酒店会对室外泳池进行升级改造,让泳池与千岛湖的湖面成为一个水平面,会让酒店更具有吸引力。当然,为了保证客人的入住体验,我们的泳池会适度管控,优先向住店客人开放。

酒店行业还是非常缺乏人才的,但我觉得欲速则不达。进入酒店行业,首先要把基础打扎实,夯实基础后坚持努力,就一定会成功。
