Q: What is the difference between TOAYTT Hotel & Resorts and other resorts?

Different f rom other r esorts only focus on accomodation, TOAYTT Hotel & Resorts hope to connect culture with brand, and pay more attention to the integration of art and technology, and more comprehensive considerations, such as: film and television, education, show and so on, not just a form of tourism town.

Q: From financial professor to the “pioneer” of TOAYTT Hotel & Resorts is not only the change of identity, but also the change of your working skills. How do you adjust yourself ?

In the past, both hotel and the spring of TOAYTT Hotel & Resorts were managed by management company, before being formally completed and reopened in the end of 2016. My team overcame the difficulties with me. We spent 90 days on solving the problems: 15 days to take over the assets, 45 days to resume operation, 60 days made profits from negative to positive. We solve all the remaining issues, adjust the organizational structure, restore equipment operation and so on. No matter on the side of the sort of constructions, cooperation, or on the side of work performance, it was a hard change. But we used the reserving professional asset management knowledge and effective execution, we still successfully repaired this town model of resort  before expected date and achieved excellent results.

Q: Do you think you are a practical idealist? Management of such a new hotel encounter many difficulties, how do you solve the contradiction between the ideal and reality?

“Be able to bend and unbend, facile and obdurate; be able to be advance and retire, weak and strong. When you are motionless, you look like mountains, which is unable to guess like the two opposing principles in nature. To become infinite as heaven and earth is, and to become enrich as the granary is, for your apotheosis to the whole country and highlight.” was said by our Chairman of The Board Mr. Wei for encouraging and supporting me. Exactly, the hotel was far away from my expectation. In such a harsh environment, we communicated with relevant departments as well as my staff, when bear all the problems left along by the management company before. Although we met the worst cases after coming here, our target never changed, even more clearly with the efforts of my team since resuming our business.

Q: For the future of TOAYTT Hotel & Resorts, is there any more wonderful plan?

We expect to create a hotel service in TOAYTT style in 4 years. With the gradually operation of thermal spring and hotel, we have more clearly ideas about TOAYTT’s operation way. In the future, starting from living and tourism, our business will focus on four lines up from the high-end to the civilian population, from domestic extension to foreign countries, which is combined with culture, hotels, international show model and other ideas as a synthesis of tourism.

Q: Finally, we would like to congratulate you on winning the award of “Craftsman Spirit” in this term’s 2016/2017 CHINA MAG TRAVEL AWARDS. Would you like to talk about your interpretation of the word “Craftsman Spirit” from your field of occupation?

No matter in what industry, the brand is nothing more than to ensure quality and quantity to meet the needsof majorities of consumer, however, it is what national enterprises need to reflect and be ashamed in the current moment of China. Although our team was just set up, I believe that as long as we service our guests, and treat employees with passion. For employees, thinking of TOAYTT Hotel & Resorts as their home will bring guests better experience.

Q:金诚太悦与其他度假酒店的最大区别在什么地方?
金诚太悦度假酒店不同于纯粹为了住店而存在的度假酒店,我们希望将文化融入品牌,更注重艺术与科技相融合,还有更多综合方面的考量,例如:影视、教育、国际秀场 …… 而不单单是一个形式上的旅游小镇。

Q:从金融人士转为金诚太悦度假酒店的 “ 开拓人 ”,这是一种身份的转变,也是工作技能的转变,您是怎么调整自己的?
在此之前,金诚太悦度假酒店无论酒店还是温泉都是委托管理公司管理的,在 2016 年底才正式完成收复并重新开业。我与我的团队初来乍到时,艰难重重,我们一鼓作气从温泉开始,历时 90 天:15 天资产接管、45 天重新复业、60 天从负到正。解决了所有的遗留问题,调整组织架构,恢复设备运作 ……无论从梳理人脉、合作模式、还是工作性能上来说,都是艰难的大转变,但我的团队凭借资产管理出身的专业知识储备,及极高的执行力和冲劲,依旧在预期日期之前成功修复秀场模式的度假村,并取得了优异的成绩。

Q:您觉得自己是一个务实的理想主义者吗?管理这么一个全新的酒店,一定会遇到许多困难,您是如何解决理想与现实之间的矛盾呢?
“ 能去能就,能柔能刚;能进能退,能弱能强。不动如岳山,难测如阴阳;浩渺如四海,炫耀如三光。” 这是董事长韦总对我的鼓励与支持。确实,在上任初期,酒店的现状与我理想中的相差甚远,在恶劣的大环境下,我理清思路,上与当地相关部门对接磨合,下与员工做推心置腹的交流,一力承担之前的管理公司所遗留下来的所有问题。虽然,刚来到这里的情况糟糕,但通过我与我团队的努力,复业至今,我们当初来到这里的目标并没有改变,甚至说是更清晰了。

Q:对于金诚太悦度假酒店的未来,将有什么更精彩的规划吗?
我们预计在4 年内,将酒店的服务打造出金诚酒店集团的模式,随着温泉、酒店的运营逐步踏上正轨,金诚酒店集团的运营思路也将更加清晰。在未来,我们的业务将围绕从高端至平民的
四条线,由国内延伸至国外,从住与旅游入手,集文化、酒店、国际秀场等理念的旅游综合体。

Q:最后,我们还想恭喜您这次能成为 2016/2017 年中国誌旅游业大奖的 “ 工匠人物 ” 之一,能否从您从事的职业领域的角度,谈谈对 “ 工匠精神 ” 这一词汇有怎样的解读呢?
无论在何行业,任何品牌无非都是保证质和量才能满足广大消费者的需求,然而这正是当下中国民族企业需要反思、感到惭愧的地方。虽说我们的团队刚建立不久,但我相信只要用心服务,也只有我们用心来对待员工,让员工将金诚太悦当成自己的家,才能给顾客带来更好的入住体验。
