It is much to be regretted that Leonardo DiCaprio failed to get the Oscar statuette by a narrow chance again in The 86th Academy Awards ceremony. As an uncrowned actor, Leonardo’s acting skill is unquestionable. He grows up from a young guy in The Titanic to a charming gentleman in The Great Gatsby, so in his latest movie The Wolf of Wall Street, he shows to the world that the definition of perfect performance.

DiCaprio plays the protagonist, a stock broker Jordan Belfort in Long Island, whom was a financial criminal in a notorious securities fraud in 90s. This movie is adapted by this business story. The director tries a new filming style this time, which gives the movie a sense of black humor and absurd. The exaggeration and acolasia wash over every minute. The audience will not feel tired during the entire three hours movie, in the other hand, the audience may refeeling the movie after the watch.

李昂纳多在片中饰演的是长岛股票经纪人贝尔福特，在上个世纪90年代，他因卷入一起臭名昭著的有价证券欺诈案而锒铛入狱。全片由此次事件改编，本片导演马丁·斯科塞斯一改往日风格，全片荒诞且可笑，夸张且纵欲，荒诞之处遍及每个角落。整整三个小时的电影并不会让观众感到视觉疲惫，反而会有意犹未尽，反复回味的感觉。
